We feel quite cheated - charged for a diagnostic on our car that turned out to be very incomplete, plus the diagnosis of the problem wound up being completely incorrect. Had I listened to their advice, I'd have *unnecessarily* spent 800$ replacing sensors that were simply unplugged. I suspect that (since they obviously know enough about car repairs to confirm that cables are in fact plugged in) they consciously chose to misinform, as that option could mean more profit for them. And they use the word 'Honest' in their brand name. I'd specifically asked the desk representitive (George) if the $160+ diagnostic charge meant they'd be going beyond AutoZone's free code-reader service. Instead what I got was less than that. They never diagnosed the coolant issue I raised nor did they advise on the cruise control. These are things I asked them to check up front. Then there was the remarkable attitude shift once they had my payment in hand. Suddenly I was invisisble, standing at the front desk for literally 5 minutes without that same attendant ever once glancing my way or making the slightest indication I was there. It was downright hostile & even clownish considering how three times he said "God bless" when I mentioned a recent death in the family (explaining our efforts to sort out the vehicle's title change). His abruptness & change of attitude was striking but in that industry not all that surprising. This display alone would've kept me from ever returning, especially considering they knew we were all still grappling with a death and overwhelmed by its implications. He was the only one there I dealt with, so maybe it's more a reflection on his professionalism and decency, but their shop's WRONG & LAZY diagnostic would suggest the problems run deeper at Honest1. Their brand name wil always now make me think of dishonesty. We were ripped off & they were clearly prepped to do it again w/ unneeded fixes. FYI- GUY WHO FIXED IT CHARGED LESS THAN THEIR FALSE DIAGNOSTIC.
