Charlotte and Matthews Auto Repair

I personally have never had an issue with this company or this site. That said, I don't know much about maintaining a vehicle. An internal contractor/vendor I trust said they should be called "Dishonest-1" for all the "extra" maintenance they perform. Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable enough to return. Good luck.

In Dec 2021, Honest-1 supposedly serviced/replaced my air filters and rotated my tires. Afterwards, my tire pressure sensor indicated an issue, and 2 of my tires suddenly showed signs of slow leaks. A few weeks later... Had to replace both tires prematurely (both only around 2 years old and less than 10k miles on them), and Inspection showed 2 critical issues with the air filters, which were so bad the guy paused work long enough to show them and point out some things: They were filthy. Like, truly filthy. They were obviously the rather-plain Honda brand, and showed plenty of fade on the edges and wear, evidence that they were much older than Dec 2021. I can't chalk that up to coincidence with these events so close together. After this situation (and other questionable interactions there, including personal items rearranged and even missing), I won't be returning to disHonest-1 Auto Care.

George was AWESOME!!! He was able to keep me updated and informed the entire time. All parts were delivered and installed within 24 hours which is impressive in itself. Great guys and the only team i allow to work on my car in charlotte

Service was timely and reasonably priced, staff was professional and friendly. The bonus of a thank you and sweet treat on my dash when I got into my car was a thoughtful touch, much appreciated.

Very honest about what needed to be done to my vehicle and what could not be done there. Super friendly and kind. I will definitely come back for my future car needs. Check them out!
