I brought a truck for the diagnostic I was working poorly, chocking and having almost no power After the inspection by the Honest-1 shop I was told that my fuel pump needs to be replaced in addition to other system clean up The total cost was a little over$900 I needed the truck badly and was much inclined to let the shop do the repairs I did not have all the funds to do the repairs so I picked up the truck and paid the shop close to $90 in diagnostic fees My friend suggested to me the fuel filter displacement. My son did it and to my surprise the truck is working beautifully again I’m very disappointed that Honest-1 shop would lie to their customers and try to take advantage of the desperate situation people are sometimes in I should be refunded the diagnostic fee but I don’t want to go through the pain of getting it I just want to to worn you people Don’t trust Honest-1 shop totally If that can take advantage of you they will Myself , I will stay away from this shop
Adam. We are sorry to hear about your service experience with Honest-1 Auto Care. Our diagnostic results revealed large amounts of debris under air filter which was removed & vehicle ran okay for about 30 minutes but then started running poorly again. Part of the diagnostic showed the fuel pump was not performing to the mfg. specification therefore the recommendation was to remove the intake, clean it and replace the fuel pump. The fuel pump replacement does include checking the fuel filter. We hope that you replacing the fuel filter will resolve your issues permanently but our experience is that debris in the intake system will need to be cleaned as recommended. Our diagnostic charge that you paid did include a discount from your rewards program of $17.40 which is from 5% back from previous services at Honest-1.
